Steven Neal
Director
Following a successful apprenticeship with British Aerospace, Steve completed a marine architecture and boat building course at Falmouth University attaining the highest marks ever awarded for his final project.
He subsequently established his own boat building business in Teddington and has developed a range of skills in the innovative use of carbon fibre taking out patents to protect some of his more brilliant ideas.
Among his more notable boat building successes are a fibre-reinforced composite Merlin Rocket, the hull of which weighs a fraction of boats built using more traditional methods, and a carbon/foam sandwich Thames A Rater considered by many to be the stiffest and fastest Rater ever built.
